JC Leisure have redesigned their popular small motorhome to coincide with
Piaggio’s launch of the Porter van on which it is based.
Piaggio have been leaders in the light commercial vehicle market for over 50
years and they built the Hijet in their factory in Italy for Japanese giants
Daihatsu. They are now importing and retailing the rebadged Porter through their
dealer network. JC Leisure have been working alongside Piaggio to develop a
conversion to match Porter’s dimensions.
The JC Leisure Porterhome features a pop-up elevating roof and a pull-out bed
with a side facing kitchen unit. There is also a porta-potti and storage for a
gas bottle for the two burner hob and a matching stainless steel sink.
The forward-facing bench seat is fitted with 3 point seat belts so the
Porterhome becomes a true everyday vehicle. The Porterhome is easy to drive and
park with its compact dimensions and turning circle radius of just 3.7m. It
comes with twin sliding rear doors and a rear tailgate as standard for easy
access. With a choice of colours available, you can have a red, or silver
motorhome which won’t stand out when parked on the kerbside but should draw
admiring glances on the caravan site.
There is a 3 year warranty on the base vehicle and a 12 months warranty on the
conversion.
