Daihatsu Hijetta

Our development of the two berth Daihatsu Hijetta micro-caravan started something of a sensation in the motorcaravan world.  At the time it was hailed as the world's smallest motorcaravan and it was endorsed by Daihatsu UK and hundreds were sold through their dealer network.

 

Now built on the 1300cc petrol chassis, the elevating roof Hijetta consists of two beds, one along each side; one is a permanent bed/settee, the other easily dismantled and stored under the kitchen when not in use.  The kitchen unit comprises a two burner hob and sink with two drawer-sized cupboards and storage space for mugs and plates.  A porta-potti and auxiliary battery come as standard and there is easy access to the camping Gaz locker via the sliding door.  

The Hijetta is small enough to be used as an everyday vehicle, yet it gives a surprising level of comfort for camping trips.
